My Dearest Emma, I have had a hard time starting this memoir because my mind goes back to so many happy events and times from when I first met you and Phil. Jonas was about 5 or6 and Bonnie was a cute little button. You welcomed me into your home weekend after weekend. You were always gracious even when your brother Nick would just decide to drop in on you. We shared so many meals. You kept our son Nic as a baby when Nick and I had to travel. You were one of a few I trusted with our baby son. . The love you shared with all of us and your good deeds has surely earned you you a special place in Heaven. I know you will always have a special place in the hearts of my entire family. With special remembrance and prayers especially for Phil, Phil, Jr. Bonnie and her family, Jonas and his family. Love you forever, Carrie Bustamante

To my Dearest Uncle Phil and for my Darling Aunt Emma,
No words can express how big losing Emma is to our family. Some of my earliest memories were of you two taking care of me. You were both ever so kind and loving and I honestly thought you were my second set of parents. Emma's beautiful smile, kind soul, and amazing heart deeply impacted me, and she will always have a special place in my heart and mind. She was so strong and courageous, yet always so gracious. Our new daughter will live on in this world in Emma's name and spirit, and I pray that she is as brave and graceful as Aunt Emma. I know she will be watching and guiding her. With all my love and prayers . . . .

My dear beautiful Mother,
How I miss you! You were such a beautiful, special person. You lived a good life with my Dad. You taught me how to love and so much more. I will think of you everyday till I am reunited with you again. Thank you for loving me the way you did. My heart is broken now and overwhelmed with pain but you left me with your strength. I know you wouldn’t want me to be sad and I will get peace in knowing that you are no longer in so much pain. Pain you lived with for so long. Rest In Peace my beloved Mother. Oh Lord let Perpetual Light Shine upon her ✝️ -B- Armani and Mia are sending XOXO to their Mamo

Filiberto & Family.
Please receive our most heartfelt condolences at the passing of our dear friend Emma. Our family and Emma's family were neighbors during our childhood and teenage years in our hometown of Nixon Texas. We attended school from elementary thru high school. Emma's parents were Padrinos at our Mom and Dads wedding. Our brother Tony was Nick's best friend. As happens lots of times when we embark on life we venture out in separate paths. We move to different towns and sometimes to other states as happened to us.
But rest assured we never have forgotten the Bustamante's, especially Emma. Her beauty was unforgettable. She had such a knack for fashion, always looked impeccable. Phil you married a beauty queen from little ole Nixon. May she rest in Peace with The Prince of Peace.
