Emma Lee Hopkins, age 89, of Windcrest, died Saturday, July 13, 2002. She was a 49-year member of Riverside Baptist Church, and was currently a member of Crestview Baptist Church. Mrs. Hopkins was a mentor at Northern Hills Elementary School. She was also a member of the Texas Chapter #35, P.M. of Logos #998 O.E.S., and a member of Nekodah Temple #44, Daughters of the Nile. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Cecil W. Hopkins and her sisters, Ida Ophelia Sis Evans, Alice Wax, Anna Treder, Lillie Treder and brothers, Fred Treder, Albert Treder and Infant Twins. Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Evelyn J. and Jim Reiffert, Jr., San Antonio; grandchildren, Kathryn Lea and Robert James Reiffert; sister, Mary Williams, Perry, OK; one nephew, Loyd Wax, Urbana, IL; 6 nieces, Marion Boyd, El Cajon, CA, Marilyn Ingle, Tulsa, OK, Sharon Reed, Friendswood, TX, Barbara Collins, Sherman, TX, Sue Dewees, Huntsville, TX and Kathy Harpel; great niece, Elize Harpel, both of Aurora, CO; sister-in-law, Leone Hopkins, Tulsa, OK.
