Emma Galindo Mendoza, age 88, a lifelong resident of San Antonio, died Sunday, December 2, 2001, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Mendoza was a longtime employee of Carl's. Preceded in death by her parents, Julio and Maria Galindo; and two brothers, Frank and Oscar Galindo, she is survived by her husband, Salvador Mendoza; daughter, Celinda Alejandro and husband, John, San Antonio; granddaughter, Cynthia Alejandro Gill; great grandchildren, Andy Gill, Chris Gill, Matthew Gill, and Laura Gill, all of Olathe, KA; and sister-in-law, Trini Galindo, San Antonio.
