He was a loving husband and father. Emmett was a member of the 87th DRS Squadron in World War II.
He is survived by wife of 60 years, Mary Elliott; daughter, Sharlene Floyd and husband, Bill of Denton, TX; son, Kenneth E. Elliott of Seattle, WA; daughter, Diane Elliott of San Antonio; grandchildren, Bill E. Floyd and wife, Lynnda of Palm Bay, FL, Beth Floyd and James Floyd both of Denton, TX; great grandson, Billy Floyd of Palm Bay, FL; brother, Buford Elliott; and sister, Emma Lou Auld, both of Lubbock, TX
