Enriqueta D. Padilla

Enriqueta D. Padilla, age 94, was born on September 3, 1931, in San Antonio, Texas, to Eloy and Lucinda Diaz. She entered into eternal rest on December 31, 2025, surrounded by the love she so freely gave throughout her life.

Enriqueta was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was known for her kindness, joyful spirit, and wonderful sense of humor that could make anyone laugh. Her loving presence brightened the lives of all who knew her.

She found great joy in dancing, playing bingo, sewing, crocheting, and spending time at Kickapoo. Above all, she cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of her life. Enriqueta was a devoted member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, where her faith guided her throughout her years.

She is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband of 51 years, Jesus Padilla Sr., and her cherished son, Henry Padilla.

Enriqueta’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of her loving children, Yolanda Herrera (Ricardo) and Jesus Padilla Jr. (Cathy), as well as her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will continue to carry her love forward.

A Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, located at 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237, on January 27, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. A Rosary Service will take place the same evening at 7:00 p.m. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the church on the morning of January 28, 2026. The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 210 St. Ann St., San Antonio, TX 78201, at 10:00 a.m. Following Mass, the family will leave in Procession from the church to Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. The Committal Service will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, TX 78209, on January 28, 2026, at 11:30 a.m.
