'I first heard of Capt Barr on TV when he was interviewed for his WW2 exploits as CO of the USS Bluegill. Years later I met him at the VA and worked with him for several years. I "charged" him stories and got some great ones. I will miss this true American Naval Hero. Thanks Capt Barr. GO Navy!'
