Sadly he lost his father in a freak accident at his home last November. They had their differences, but under it all was their love for each other.
His other loves were first of all, his treasured Rottweilers who were always there throughout his life; his wonderful smooth Dachshund, Perry who he showed in Jr. Showmanship to many prestigious awards. He also finished Perry's Championship himself, and helped to show our Rottweilers.
He grew up loving all animals; salt and fresh water fishing and most sports, especially the Spurs. His love of animals took him to St. George's University in Grenada, West Indies where he spent 5 years studying Veterinary Medicine. He made many friends there and obtained his DVM.
Erik was preceded in death by his father, Tito, all of his Grandparents, and his beloved Aunt Linda.
Erik is survived by his mother, Debbie; brother, Michael; his other "big brother" Christian Orr; multiple uncles, aunts and cousins in Mexico and many life-long friends here. He is also survived by our dogs Legend and his rescue dog, Diesel, they, too, are heartbroken. Erik's final ceremony will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Defense League on Nacogdoches Road.
