Erik Thomas Liedig was called home by our heavenly Father on April 26, 2013 at the age of 39. He was born on July 5, 1973 in Key West, Florida to Thomas F. and Darlene A. Liedig. An avid outdoorsman who enjoyed working out, Erik was a CTT1 Chief of the U.S. Navy, proudly serving for 20 years until his retirement.
He is preceded in death by his sister Kathleen M. Moyer and is survived by his wife Yvette Dee Lerma, son Chance Erik Liedig, daughter Samantha Michelle Sample, parents Thomas F. and Darlene A. Liedig, and brother Keith R. Moyer.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 from 5-8pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 12pm at The Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
