

Our beautiful Erika Guerrero, 31, of San Antonio, Texas, received her angel wings on March 16, 2024, surrounded by her family and those who adored her. Erika was born to Santiago Guerrero Ochoa and Griselda Guerrero in Redondo Beach, California on July 8, 1992.
Erika was an incredibly talented, well-rounded artist and entrepreneur specializing in hair, makeup, special effects, and art. She was a graduate of Paul Mitchell in 2011 and dedicated her gifts making people look and feel beautiful at various events around the United States. She loved her profession because she felt that it gave others a safe place to be themselves and gave her clients a shoulder to lean on.
She was a wonderful singer, and everyone looked forward to her karaoke and dance. She loved to rewatch shows, so much so that any client walking into her salon could catch up on an episode of Golden Girls, Friends and That 70s Show. Erika had an old soul, passionately expressing classic eras of vintage with her clothing, modeling, works, parties, and overall style. It has been said that she learned how to dance before she could walk. Her viral dance video with her father caught the hearts of many followers and captured the fun spirit that Erika and her family shared.
Erika was an amazing friend with a huge heart. She was kind and humble to everyone who she had met. She had an infectious smile and laugh. Many will miss how cute and funny she was. Erika comes from an unwavering committed, loving and supporting family. It was important to her to put family and faith in the center of everything that she did. She loved planning unique themed get togethers.
She was dedicated to helping others. Her strength made her a beacon of light, advocating for awareness on prioritizing early detection. Even through her illness, her light never dimmed. She always put others before herself and she was constantly creating ways to give back to her community.
Erika is survived by her loving parents, her siblings, Santiago Israel, Jr., Jaslyn, and Lissette Guerrero. Erika is also survived by numerous family members, caring friends and dedicated clients that will miss her and vow to make her memory live on.
In lieu of flowers, the Guerrero family would appreciate a donation be made to them in memory of Erika.
