She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Leonzo Gutierrez and Cruz Lozano and Aunt Alice Morales.
She is survived by mother, Tammy Gonzales, father, David Lozano, step-father Roman Gonzalez; husband, Daniel Haynes and their two sons, Erinny and Derik Haynes;; her sisters Jessica Blass, Monica Ontiveros, and Rebecca Lozano; her nephews, Joe Belmontes, Devon Lozano, Joshy and Josiah Ontiveros; nieces, Joslyn Ontiveros and Janice Belmontes; grandmothers, Carmen Gutierrez and Esther Lozano, her loyal puppy, Steeler Girl, 19 aunts and uncles; Gilbert Arellano, Gloria Torres, Nati Tovar, Helen Dominguez, Sookie Gutierrrez, Peter Gutierrez, Corina Andrade, Carmen Duran, David Gutierrez, Danny Gutierrez, Rick Gutierrez, Christy Gutierrez, Edward Lechuga, Gracie Montanez, Terry Portillo and Frances Black; Lifelong Best Friend Sylvia Lorenzo; Guardian Angel Elsa Vasquez; her Optimal family and many other family and friends.
Erika was “the light and the lightbulb”, her smile was so infectious that others couldn’t help but smile along with her. She was a country music fan, among her favorites were Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, and Dwight Yoakam. A die hard Steelers fan she would always do her best to never miss a game. She possessed a passion, drive and ambition that was unmatched in her personal and professional life. You didn’t just know Erika, she impacted your life and left an everlasting impression. Her beauty started from within and radiated through an amazing smile and outer beauty that was truly unforgettable.
Visitation celebrating Erika’s life will be held at Sunset Funeral Home located at 1701 Austin Hwy on Saturday, June 19, 2021 5:30 to 9:00 pm.
