Hank is survived by his wife, Rena Houston DuBose; daughter, Martha DuBose of San Diego, California; son, David Dubose of San Antonio; and numerous cousins.
Hank was born in Gonzales and at the death of his father, when he was two, his mother moved to San Antonio where he attended public school graduating from Alamo Heights High School.
He enlisted in the United Sates Marines serving in the Pacific Theater during WWII.
He married Rena Houston DuBose in 1953. Hank was self employed as head of DuBose and Associates for his adult life.
He served on the board of the Salvation Army and was a volunteer at the SAMM Shelter. He and his family were active members of St. David's Episcopal Church.
Golf was his passion, a gift he passed on to his daughter, Martha, a PGA apprentice at Torrey Pines Golf Course. David has followed his mother in education.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the SAMM Shelter, The Salvation Army or St. David's Episcopal Church and/or School.
