"B+" was a proud WWII veteran, U. S. Army, 513th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 17th Airborne Division and a retiree of Kelly AFB after 37 years of faithful service. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, artist, cook and storyteller. He was also an active member of the Holy Rosary Church and their Men's Club and was a Boy Scout leader at St. Agnes. He was involved with community service, as a baseball coach, PTA member and in booster clubs with his children. He was a political supporter and served as a Bexar County Voting Poll Judge for years.
Above all else Dad loved his family. His life was a commitment to his wife and children, and his deepest joy was their happiness and success. We love you Dad! There will always be a part of you in each of us.
A special "thank you" to Kathleen Halka MD, Ernesto Guerra MD, Robert Borrego MD, and Carlos Orozco MD who followed his care the past two years. The family is grateful to the doctors and staff of Christus VNA Hospice Center for their special care of their father during the last days of his life.
We'd also like to thank all our family, friends and community for the prayers and support that we received throughout our Dad's battle with cancer.
