Ernestine A. Garcia

Ernestine A. Garcia entered into eternal rest surrounded by her family on May 15, 2020 in San Antonio, TX. Ernestine was born to Ernest Julian and Guadalupe Arias Garcia on November 14, 1947 in San Antonio, TX. Tina was a graduate of Sidney Lanier High School and earned an associate's degree at San Antonio College. She continued her education at Texas A&M-San Antonio. Her career included many years as a bank teller at Alamo National Bank and as a tutor in the English Lab at San Antonio College. Tina had a beautiful smile, was a funny lady always keeping everyone happy & laughing. Tina devoted her life to giving great care to her twin sister Juliet, her mother, and her niece Jillian.

Tina was preceded in death by her parents; her twin sister, Juliet and her nephew, Victor Ochoa. Tina is survived by her siblings, Lupe Ochoa, Diana Uriegas (Ramon) and Ernest Garcia (Rose); nieces and nephews, Jillian Johnson, Berin Uriegas (Melinda), Alexia Russell (Genesis) and Amanda & Julia Garcia.

Tina is also survived by her great nieces & nephews, Skylar, Ainsley and Anthony Luberto, Brandon Russell, Abigail & Steven Ochoa; She is also survived by numerous family members and friends.

The family is deeply grateful for Tina's private caregiver & close friend, Emma Guerrero, for her many years of loving care.

She will be greatly missed & remembered….. especially for her smile, for her sense of humor and her quick wit.
