Born and raised in San Antonio, Ernesto V. Acosta graduated from Fox Tech High School, where he began building the strong work ethic and character that would define his life. Throughout his career, he earned the respect of everyone around him. He worked for a local door manufacturing company, where his leadership and dedication stood out. His abilities were so highly regarded that he was moved to Tennessee to open a new plant. He later worked for McCoys where he was encouraged to operate his own store. Ernesto spent his last working years with his brother Alex at his sports store as the warehouse manager. He oversaw inventory, production and delivery. They were very proud of their work with local school districts, sports organizations and most notably the San Antonio Spurs.
Above all else, Ernesto loved his family. He was a devoted husband who deeply loved his wife and a proud father to his only son. The bond he shared with his family was the center of his life, and he found his greatest joy in spending time with those he loved most.
