Erskine E. Hutchison, born September 28, 1921, entered rest on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at the age of 90. Erskine served his country, first in the Army Air Corps for 3 years, then in the United States Air Force for 26 years until his retirement. He then worked for 18 years at H. B. Zachry. He enjoyed traveling and flying Cessna’s. Most importantly, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jung Hutchison; his daughters, Carol Urfer and husband Don, Tamiko Perez, Grace Stewart and husband Steve, April Lewis and husband Roland, June Elizabeth Barrera and husband Dan; grandchildren, Christian, Courtney, Jeremy, Megan, Joshua, Amber, Zena, Kayleigh and Heather. Visitation will be held on Sunday, 3, 2012 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway. Funeral service will be held Monday, June 4, 2012 at 12:00pm at Sunset Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
