Esperanza Cortez, born January 5, 1929 in Rosita, Coahuila, Mexico went to be with our Lord on September 27, 2020 at the age of 91.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Maria Espinoza; her beloved husband, Manuel B. Cortez and her three brothers.

She is survived by her children, Manuel Cortez III, Abby Ramirez (Ben), and Benjamin E. Cortez; grandchildren, Rick Cortez, Victoria Cortez, Jennifer Cortez, Ruby R. Moreno, and Christina Casanova; eight great grandchildren and brother, Chafi Espinoza.

A visitation will be held Monday, October 5, 2020 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto rd. 78211 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with memorial service to be held at 7:00 p.m.
