Thinking of you everyday Hopie. I miss you so much. Not a day goes by that I don't wish I could hear your voice but I know you're still looking out for me all the way from heaven.  I love you. 

I went for my appointment yesterday.  Strange I had thought of Hope a few days before my appointment and was looking forward to seeing her.  I looked at her workstation and noticed her picture.  I was saddened to read that she had past away.  She had a big heart.  Always a smile.  Helpful.   She will be greatly missed.  

Hope was a beautiful soul.  I was heartbroken to read her obituary when I went for my appointment yesterday.  I recall only the beautiful smile when I checked in.  Always soft spoken, caring, and compassionate to me and my sister. I observed the same treatment to the all patients.
Hope, thank you for all you did for us. You were one of a kind. You can never be replaced. Your journey here on earth is finished  and you are in the  kingdom of heaven. You certainly earned your wings. You are truly missed. You were so blessed with the  beautiful family and so many friends through your life.  You are in a beautiful place.  We  loved you, we will never forget you. Thank you again.

My Heartfelt Condolences to the family of Esperanza Montenegro. She was a welcome face and voice to all at Texas Health Care. To know her is to know a person who was kind, considerate and thoughtful. We remember and mourn with you in the loss of your loved one so dear. You are not ALONE. The God of All Comfort is sensitive to those bowed low. In every way we wish you comfort and hope in the promises of tomorrow when there is no more sorrow. Our thoughts and prayers are with family  & friends during tears of deep loss.

I have known Hope for at least twenty years plus.  She was a faithful friend always helping in or out of the Health Texas office.  She was a loyal and trusted friend always ready to help in any way.  Her smiling and welcoming face was the first to see at the doctor's office.  I will truly miss you and our talks.  Rest in Heavenly Peace my beloved friend😭😢🙏❣️

Friends come into our lives and friends leave but you my friend will never leave my heart. Best friends always get to stay in  the best places in our heart. I love you my friend, missing you . When we first met I knew I   could trust you, there has been few times in my life that  something like that has happened  and continued  through the course of time. You have been a special friend to me,  you have been through so many painful as well as joyful times in my life and no words can express the sorrow I feel because you are no longer here I Love and miss  you my friend.

She is survived by her spouse of 38 years, Hermelindo Puentes Sr.; five kids, Marsha and William Abela, Karla and Michael Wascom, Esperanza and Michael Camacho, Juan and Lourdes Montenegro, Hermelindo Jr. and Jennifer Puente; brother, Jose Pastrano; grandkids, David, Cameron, Abela, Chris, Anthony, Mia, Michael Jr. Wascom, Cruz, George, Michael Jr. Camacho, Theodore, and Carmella Puente; great-grandkids, David III. Abela, and one on the way. She will be truly missed by family and friends.


She is preceded in death by her parents, Cruz Pastrano, and Angelina Pastrano; brother, Cruz Pastrano Jr., and sister-in-law Gloria Pastrano.
