Esperanza D. Salas

Esperanza D. Salas was called home to be with the Lord on January 3, 2014 at the age of 88. Esperanza was born on October 12, 1925 in Laredo, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband Miguel Salas; sons Juan Jose Salas, David D. Salas; nephew Miguel Salas Jr lll. Esperanza is survived by her 2 daughters Gloria E. Salazar and husband Hector, Sara Salas; sons Miguel Salas, Robert Salas and wife Alice, Oscar Salas, Mario Salas, Marvin Omar Delgado; 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 7 great – great grandchildren; sister Elena Duarte; brother Juan Duarte; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Special thanks to Norma Salas – granddaughter and to River City Hospice. Especially Louise Alonzo, and Betty Ramirez. A visitation will begin on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. for a 9:30 a.m. Mass at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 125 W Whittier St. Followed by interment in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
