I have so many fond memories of Steve...since 1976! Weddings, babies, baptisms,
grandbabies, so many Christmas Eve's together with family and friends.
Steve will always be in my heart and remembered for his wonderful smile, hugs, and his contagious laugh! Be at peace my dear Compadre....I will see you again when my time comes. All my love to the family....💕

As Esteban was only 1 year older and my uncle, I always thought of him more like a "primo," during our childhood years growing up across the street from each other in Fowlerton. Lots of fond memories of my brother Rosendo, Esteban and I running around the yards and woods playing cowboys and Indians, holiday dinners with our families and trick or treating
Rest in peace, Esteban, and may all the loving and warm memories comfort the family.

Will always remember his smile, even though I have not seen him in 50 plus years . I can recall him playing with my brother Rosendo and Alberto when they were school in together.

Every day at Stevenson, Steve would say "Good Morning" and give me a kiss on the cheek. This always started made day on a positive note! Whenever I needed anything taken care of in the clinic, I knew Steve would take care of it. I was so happy for him when he retired and I know he was excited about getting more time to spend with his family!
My prayers for his family in this time of loss! May the Lord carry you through this time and may you feel Steve's presence enveloping you with his Love!

Juana and family sending our condolences and blessing to you all for the loss of Steve. May he RIP. Steve was a person that was alway there when you needed a helping hand,. I remember i was coming from Wichita and my car broke down in Lampasa and he went to fix the car and made sure the kids and I got to San Antonio safe. He didn't have to do that, but that was just the kind of guy he was. The times we came on leave and stayed with you all, great memories. We will miss Stevie very much, one thing for sure he will never be forgotten. We love you Stevie: Cheve and Tina Cervantes,🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤

I will miss Stevie always. Whenever we were able to visit, he always had a smile on his face. He always made you feel happy and loved.

One of the last times that we stayed with Stevie and Juanita I had some churizo eggs. I've been obsessed with churizo ever since.
