Estella A. Garcia

Estela A. Garcia, a loving and devoted mother and wife, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017 in San Antonio. Estela was born on July 2, 1931 to the parents of Rafael Aguilar and Bruna Lopez. She loved being with her family and friends and enjoyed listening to her favorite music. Our mom always graced the presence of her children being back at home where there was love and laughter all around us.

One thing we will always cherish about our mom was the strong family foundation she provided us and her legacy will live on forever.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilberto J. Garcia; her parents; her brother and two sisters.

Estela is survived by daughter, Giovanna Garcia (Mario Pina), daughter, Edna G. Moya (Ernest), daughter, Elizabeth Saenz (Ramiro), son, Gilbert Garcia, daughter, Grace G. Ramirez (James Flores); grandchildren, Joe Gilbert, Jonathan Lee, Robyn Bianca, Matthew Gilbert, Erik Adrien, Heather Lyndy, and Marco; great-grandchildren, Jaeryk, Julius, Jayden, Dominick Jay, Kian Cruz, and Derek: sisters, Angelina Gonzales, Maria Elena Sanchez, and Juventina Cadena.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the caring staff of Embrace Hospice.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Porter Loring McCullough with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.
