Estella C. Ortegon

Estella was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who treasured her family above all else. She enjoyed doing seek-and-find puzzles, working with her plants, and spending meaningful time with her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered for her caring heart, gentle nature, and the love she shared with everyone around her.

Estella is reunited in Heaven with her parents, Juan Cruz and Dominga Flores Cruz; the father of her children, Fred D. Ortegon Sr.; her sisters, Aurora Alcantara, Elvira Gonzales, Carolina Gonzales, and Anita De La Rosa; and her brothers, Reynaldo F. Cruz, Juan Cruz, Jesse Cruz, and Pete Cruz.

Estella's memory will forever live in the hearts of her children, Roland C. Ortegon (wife; Bonnie Ortegon), Fred C. Ortegon(wife; Irma G. Ortegon), and Stella Ortegon. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will cherish her memory.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on April 9, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with a Rosary at 7:00 PM, at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237.

A Chapel Service will be held on April 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the same location. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Road, San Antonio, TX 78237.

Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the cemetery. Maps will be provided by the funeral home.
