My prayers and condolences are with you and the families. I have met and talked with her and you several times over the years as a long time resident in Olmos Park Terrace. She was a very wonderful and blessed person and am grateful to have met her. Just got back in town and read the OPTNA newsletter. I know she was very active in this neighborhood association and makes it a very special and proud place to live. The neighborhood now in heaven is calling her. God bless.

I admired Stella when we worked together in building 171, at Kelly AFB. She was so intelligent and knowledgeable about our work. If anyone asked her a question, she always had an answer and we accepted it whether it was right or not. I remember she used to mention her "Chon" as she lovingly called him. She always had cute stories to tell about him. My sincerest sympathy to Jerry and the family. May God bless you and be with you during such a difficult time.

I met Stella & Jerry 3 yrs ago thru a mutual admiration of art. She beamed with so much confidence and appreciation for others she made the very complex seem elementary. I remember the first sentence i started with *i cant* when speaking to Stella and Stella looked at me until i finished with my reasoning for why i couldnt, and she rebutted "why cant you?" She believed we all *Could* no matter what we face. She made me believe it too. Im sure im not the only person to feel that look she would give you, and you just knew she believed in you. Ill miss that. Rest in peace friend.

What a beautiful woman Stella was, inside and out. While I didn't know her as well or as long as our dear Mamma and my sister did, I knew from our association with the St. John Altar Society that she was very special and much loved. I am so sorry to hear about her death. Stella was a great neighbor, so charming and sweet. I recall the time she came to my house, I did not know who she was and she wanted to help me and Diana via words of encouragement, to get though a tough time I was having with cancer. It was a genuine act of kindness.

 I wish all of her family the strength to carry on without her bright presence among you on this earth. It must be so very hard for you all. 

I have missed seeing her in her yard creating beautiful landscapes, but I will always remember her, as I have in the past, with kind thoughts as I pass by her yard.

It is great sadness to receive this news of Estella's passing. I had the privlege of knowing her as a co-worker at Kelly Air Force Base in the Aircraft Program Mgt. Division for many years. She was always a great lady caring and kind to all. May God be close to the loved ones during this difficult times.

Estella was such an important person in our neighborhood. She became the plant expert and guided the beginners as we tried to create drought resistant landscapes. As I walk down Mandalay I will always see her out and about in her yard.

Dearest Grandma - one of the strongest & inspirational women I was blessed with. From the time I was born until now she has taken care of me in more ways than one. She is my light in the dark & my strength when I was weak. She was the glue in our family. 
 I will miss her calling my grandpa "Tyson." Or making faces and shaking her head when Grandpa chats with telemarketers. She inspires me to be a better person & she will forever live on thru her kids, grand kids & great grandchildren. She loved her family & I am eternally grateful for her. She is irreplaceable. Estella Tyson was a loving, caring woman with a gentle touch. She had a special light that shined upon us and we are lucky to have known her. Thank you Mrs. Tyson for all you did for my family, especially my mother, and for my father when he was ill. You gave much comfort in an impossible life event, and we will never forget your kindness.

Her love radiates when you are in her presence. She never once judged me for my lifestyle, or my life decisions, ( tho she probably didn't agree with most) she truly showed me how to love with no boundaries. She was my rock, the one who put me in my place when I needed it, and most of all she was and still is my idol. I will forever love you and am thankful you are now watching over me from above. Even tho I was not ready for you to go grandma, I guess GoD needed you more then I did. You will be forever missed...til we meet again

Estella was one of the special people who blessed the lives of all those she touched. She was the first to bring comfort and strength when we learned of Leroy's cancer. I treasure the friendship we had with Estella & Jerry over the years and felt we were part of a family. Her life was one of service & she lived the gospel. I will miss her laughter here, but know that Leroy greeted her in heaven.
