Steve was the oldest of 5 siblings. Steve was preceded in death by his Father, Esteban Rangel and his sister, Yolanda Cortinas.
He is survived by his Wife, Dawn Warmuth Rangel; Mother, Valeriana Arguijo Rangel; Sisters, Esther Garza and Joann Barbosa; Brother, Ernest Rangel; Children, Sandra and Ruben Villarreal; Grandchildren, Bella and Saul and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Steve graduated from LaSalle High School and served his country in the Air Force. He spent time in the seminary, and while he did not find this to be his calling, he was proud to be part of the ACTS brotherhood. He was a huge sports fan and especially loved to play golf.
Steve enjoyed his large family and loved it when the family gathered for the holidays.
He will be missed very much as we enter into his favorite time of year.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 21st from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM with recitation of the Rosary at 5:00 PM in the Chapel at Porter Loring on McCullough.
