Esther Lugo

She grew up in New Mexico and the family moved to Los Angeles, California where she met and married her husband.

Some of Esther's hobbies included fishing, dove hunting, camping, quilting, embroidery and she loved to bake pies and make fried chicken. She also loved horse racing, playing cards and going to bingo.

Esther was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Dominguez and Tomasa Moya; husband, Albert Lugo; brothers, Vincent and Joe Dominguez and sisters, Marcella Aranda and Lucy Ferris.

She is survived by her baby sister, Virginia Murillo; daughter, Janice Solis and husband, Henry; grandchildren, Henry and wife, Laura, Gina and Armando; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Henry Robert, Myra, Amanda, Natalie and Marquest and numerous nieces and nephews.

Esther was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Porter Loring.
