Mary Esther Muro, also known as Esther Muro entered into the loving arms of our Lord on September 16, 2023 at the age of 85. Ester was born in Llano, Texas on November 17, 1937 to Faustina Flores and Ernesto Borroel Sr.
Esther met Romaldo while working at a restaurant where Romaldo, who was apart of the United States Marines Corps, dined at. As their love grew the two were married. Romaldo was part of a conjunto group and Esther became the lead singer. Together they were Conjunto del Muro. She had a beautiful voice and the group played in several places around San Antonio. Esther and Romaldo would often host their friends and families at their home for barbecues and get togethers.
Esther loved to play bingo and was always at the bingo hall enjoying her time. She always lent a helping hand and welcomed you with open arms.
She worked as a caregiver and was also a housewife, on the weekends she was not singing she enjoyed barbecues with her family and friends. She also enjoyed fishing, beach outings, and cooking, her cooking was always the best and made with love. She was all about her Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs collecting many memorabilia throughout the years.
Esther will be reunited with her husband, Romaldo Muro, daughter, Mary Liz Alaniz, son, Ruben Perez, parents, Faustina and Ernesto Borroel, and grandson Xavier.
Her memory will forever live in her children, Cynthia Huerta (Richard), Sarah Galvan, Mary Ann Sanchez (Toby), Mary Lou West (Reginald), Lyn Muro, Mary Joy Cervantes (Leonard), siblings, Ernest Borroel Jr., Jesse Borroel, Ignacio Borroel, Freddy Borroel (Becky), nephews, nieces, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren as well as extended family and friends.
