Esther was the heart of her family — a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a cherished friend to many. Known for her unwavering honesty and wit, Esther never hesitated to speak her mind. Her words, always real and from the heart, were matched by the warmth of her presence and the comfort of her cooking.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures: cooking for her loved ones, watching wrestling, spending time with her family and friends, and doting on her beloved Chihuahua, Güera. Her unique style was always adorned with her favorite jewelry pieces, which she proudly wore, reflecting her vibrant personality.
Esther also had a soft spot for her “Chucky” doll, a playful and special gift from her son John, which brought her many smiles. Her home was filled with laughter, stories, and the kind of love that only someone as spirited as Esther could give.
She is now reunited in heaven with her loving parents, Enrique and Pauline Garcia, and leaves behind a beautiful and enduring legacy.
Esther’s memory will live on in the hearts of her children: Ruben Fernandez, John Lee Mena, Mary Ellen Rodriguez, and Raquel Ann Mena (Fernando); her grandsons: Roy Mena, Fernando John Lee Mena, and Richard Perez; her great-grandsons: Messiah Mena and Malachi Mena; and countless other relatives and dear friends who were blessed to know her.
