Ethel (Barrett) Keith

Margaret Helen Grimm was raised in Garland, Texas. She graduated from Garland High School and Texas Women’s University. She was selected for Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. After marrying Bernard Grimm in 1950, she moved to San Antonio. Before joining Central Christian Church, she was a very active member of Woodlawn Christian Church. Helen also volunteered her time in PTA, as a Girl Scout leader, at Jefferson Outreach and other organizations. She was also an avid bridge player. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bernard of 54 years and son Mark. She is survived by daughters Linda Grimm and Julie Saurage (Mike), grandchildren Kylie Harrelson (Jacob), great-grandson Jack Harrelson, Ryan Saurage (Kali), Daniel Grimm (Marie) and great-granddaughter Taylor Grimm. She is also survived by daughter-in-law Linda B., children Brandon Murray (Mylinda), Becky Sparrow (Todd), D.J. Murray (Tiffany) and their children. Helen is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces and dear friends. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Alzheimer’s Association.
