Pat: It is with deepest regrets and our sympathy, that Estelle and I, learned via your E-Mail on Monday, 10/05/09, that your mother passed away earlier that evening. In our last phone conversation, I sensed that you perhaps knew the end was near for your mother, but we always hope for the best and pray for a miracle. Although, as I write this, the visitation, rosary, and funeral have already occurred; however, I am glad that I was able to attend each event?in order to support you and honor your mother. I would have submitted this guest book entry before I left Dallas for Ethel?s visitation, rosary, and funeral; however, I was short on time and needed to leave for the three events in order to drive to San Antonio and be on time for the visitation. We can't image how devastated you must feel; our deepest condolences are with you as you grieve. You are in our thoughts and prayers; please accept our sincere sympathies. The loss of someone so close is difficult to bear. Having recently lost my 71 year old brother, and previously Estelle and I lost both of our parents, we share your grief. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of need. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Our hearts go out to you at this time and in the days ahead. No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. It is so hard to lose a parent; they are the reason for our whole being and for us being here on this earth. We know how close both you and Tiffany were to your mother. Knowing your mother, she fought a long, hard, and courageous battle to conquer her disease. Although Ethel lived a full life, any death is very sad, so it tends to bring us back to our roots and strengthens us as a family unit. I saw those traits in your family?s actions at Ethel?s funeral as they pulled together. You have been given God's most earthly test...faith in Him and his calling your mother home after her life?s journey here on earth. May your heart soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. Here is hoping that the words of encouragement to press on...from family, friends, and relatives will ease your pain...although it will be a long grieving process and forever leave a hole in your heart. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. Pat, Our hearts ache for you as we share the pain you are feeling with the loss of your wonderful mom. Your mother was such a special and caring person and so much like our own sweet mother. One of my sisters was just mentioning that our moms thought they'd have made great neighbors so may it comfort you as it does me to know they have each other until we can all be together again. You were wonderful to your mother and the love you had for each other was so amazing. Nothing can break those bonds as you'll have those precious memories forever. If you need anything, please call us. In the meantime, we'll be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. love you

We will miss our dear sweet neighbor so much. She was a good friend to us and to our kitties throughout the 10 years that we knew her.
