She was born in Antlers, OK in 1914, graduated from East Central College in Ada, OK with a Degree in Fine Arts in 1934.
She moved to San Antonio in 1939, where she worked at W.B. Osborn Operator from 1941 to 1956 and married her husband, James H. Burke in 1956.
Mrs. Burke was preceded in death by her husband, James Hamilton Burke, parents, Samuel Wiley and Della Bacon Jones and her sister, Winnie Lou Jones.
Survivors: nephew, Jerry D. Burke, Lake Charles; nieces, Mary Jack, CA and Elaine Edgerton, New Zealand. She is also survived by her best friend for 59 years, Maria Wallace.
