

Eva Garza Macias, born on December 24, 1952 in San Antonio, Texas, to the late Agustin Garza and Helena M. Garza, entered into eternal rest on August 22, 2026, surrounded by her loving family and those who meant the most to her.
Eva was a devoted mother, grandmother, and cherished member of her family. She found great joy in spending time with her loved ones and creating memories that will forever remain in their hearts. She will be remembered for the love and care she gave to her family and for the many special moments they shared together.
Eva is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Debbie Ann Arce Estrada (Julio) and Frances M. Arce, Her sons; Henry Arce Jr., Rafael Arce (Jennifer), and Troy Lee Arce, her siblings; Yolanda Gonzales, Rosalinda Flores, Alfonso Garza, Teresa Flores, and Alfred Garza. She also leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren, who will carry her memory and the love she gave them throughout their lives.
Eva enjoyed gardening and was a proud fan of the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys. She also enjoyed watching television, including General Hospital, La Rosa de Guadalupe, but more than anything Eva loved her family and the time spent with them.
She is reunited in heaven with her parents, Agustin Garza and Helena M. Garza, her siblings; Amelia Rios, Dolores Ballez, Agustin Garza, Arturo Garza, Amador Garza, Antonio Garza, Maria Elena Acosta, Armando Garza, as well as beloved family members and siblings who welcomed her into eternal rest.
Eva’s life was one filled with family, love, and cherished memories. Though she is no longer with us, her love will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, extended family, and all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
May she rest peacefully in the loving embrace of eternal life. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
A Visitation for Eva will be held on Monday, August 31, 2026 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio Texas 78237 from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am, with a Rosary Service at 7:00 pm.
