Evelyn Barbee

Evelyn Barbee, age 84, passed away Monday, March 28, 2011 at her residence in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on June 19, 1926 in San Antonio, Texas to James & Mary Biehunko. Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald C. Barbee. Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Barbee Edwards, Mary Jane Barbee and Karen Barbee Adkisson & husband, Tommy; son, Taylor H. Barbee & wife, Brenda; grandchildren, Angie Edwards Levinthal & husband, Jared, Aimee Edwards Hunter & husband, Tom, Zach Edwards & wife, Danielle, Jennifer Barbee and Jerry Barbee; four great-grand-daughters, Chandler, Kendall, Rainey Levinthal and Kinley Edwards; and numerous nieces & nephews. Visitation will take place from 5-9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass will take place at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Norman Ermis celebrant. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
