Evelyn Ruth Harrison

Evelyn Ruth Harrison, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on January 27, 2026 at the age of 95. She was born on December 22, 1930, in New Braunfels, Texas to Willie and Pauline Kluth. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Bill M. Harrison, her daughter Barbara Harrison, her sister Gladys Kuhle, and her brother William Kluth.

Evelyn leaves behind a devoted family who dearly loves and misses her. Her family includes her sister Mary Howard (Sam); cherished children, Susan Jennings (Larry); Mac Harrison (Teri); and Gary Harrison. She was the proud grandmother of Elizabeth Cheslock (Todd); Scott Jennings (Liz); Rebecca Hart (Patrick); Amanda Harrison (Gregory Salinas); Sarah Caldwell (Austin); Sam Harrison (Sophie) and Emily Harrison. She is remembered with love by her great-grandchildren, Jackson, Logan, Charlie, Judy and Josh and numerous nieces and nephews.

An avid gardener and nature lover, Evelyn found joy tending to her plants and watching things grow under her care. She enjoyed watching and feeding the many birds and animals that gathered at her feeders. These things gave her great pleasure and are a reflection of her spirit: patient, nurturing and full of life.

Evelyn lived with kindness and a generous spirit that enriched everyone around her. She leaves behind a legacy of unwavering love and compassion for others. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.
