From a real "Rosie the Riveter" ship welder in California during WWII to a surgical nurse in San Antonio, our beloved Evelyn Marie accomplished many great and amazing things in her life. She was most proud of her loving and adoring family; her husband of 65 years, Victor and their four children, Kathryn, Christine, Butch and Debra.
Over the years, they all grew together and her family blossomed as grandchildren, and eventually great-grandchildren came along. Evelyn was our companion, mother, grandma, "Ma" and friend. We will always cherish our memories together dancing, traveling the world and to the Texas coast (which she loved so much), the fun crafts projects, shopping and the great family gatherings at holiday time. Thank you so much for all of your love and guidance through life, you will live forever in our hearts.
She was preceded in death by, her daughter, Debra Hollar.
Evelyn is survived by her loving husband, Victor Jouffray; son, "Butch" Jouffray and wife Hedy; daughter, Kathryn Bourque and husband Edwin; daughter, Christine Jouffray; son in law, Rick Hollar; sister, Geraldine Millang; 8 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, March 25, 2012, at Porter Loring Mortuary North Chapel.
