On April 1st, 2014 Evelyn died peacefully in San Antonio, Texas, the city she called home since 1952.
She is survived by her daughter, Sunny Planto; son, Jim Schulman (the Twins); son, Bob Schulman; four grandchildren, Phil Planto, Lisa McGinnis, Allana Morgan and Jesse Roth; eight grandchildren, Sophie Ader, Nadir, Sayeed and Sterling Morgan, Wyatt, Dylan, Tyler, and Ryder McGinnis and many fans and friends who were both astonished and influenced by her quest for continuous self-improvement, her celebration of life, her musical magic, and her constant interest in, support of, and love for others.
