

He was born on March 11, 1920, in Plainview, Texas. He entered the military service in 1942 and received his pilot wings. During his 28 years in the Air Force he served as an instructor pilot, base operations officer, and a missile site commander.
Following military retirement, he served as Assistant Manager of Airports for Shreveport, LA, and as Comptroller for an engineering firm in Shreveport.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Brown, and two children, Tim Brown and wife Brenda and Debbie Davidson and husband Jim. His five grandchildren are Dylan Brown, Finley Campbell, Brad Davidson, Kim Place, and Mark Davidson. His four great grandchildren are Marissa Foxworth, Scotlynn Davidson, and Remy and Alex Place. Mrs. Rachel Morrell was his faithful caretaker.
