Faustina Rincon Zapata was called home to be with the Lord, on December 7, 2014 at the age of 78. She was preceded in death by her daughter Diana Meyer, brothers Richard Zapata, Valente Zapata Jr., parents Valente and Adela Zapata. She loved to garden, cook and laugh with her daughters, just like her daughters do now with their own families. Faustina will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. She is survived by her loving daughters; Debra Guevara (Edward), Adela Coleman, Sandra Coleman, Yvonne Coleman, Magdalena Reyes, brother Heriverto Zapata 12 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A procession will depart the funeral home on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. for a 12:00 p.m. Mass of Resurrection at San Juan De Los Lagos Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
