Faye Elizabeth Jones

Faye Elizabeth Brown Jones of Schertz, Tx, was born on February 28, 1935, and the only child of the late Frank W. Brown & Virginia B.L. (Rakes) Brown in Elkton, MD. She was also predeceased by her husband JD Jones of 45 years. She passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025, at 90 years of age.

Faye spent her years working as a Red Cross hospital volunteer, telephone switchboard operator and a lengthy career as a legal secretary. She retired at the age of 78. Faye was talented at sewing, painting, stained glass, porcelain doll making and cooking.

Faye is survived by her daughter Tracy (Weikert) Garcia and husband Charles, Grandson Ryan and wife Kelsey Garcia, Granddaughter Mercedes, Grandson Michael and wife Kaetlyn Garcia. Daughter Kelly (Weikert) Estrada and husband Antonio, Granddaughter Virginia and husband Matt Quintero, Granddaughter Hailey Buehl. Step-Granddaughter Kristi and husband Stephen Gamel. Her wonderful grandchildren Madilynn, Brooklyn, Liam, Cade & Eden and Step-Grandchildren Kayla & husband Ben Human, Chelsea, Jayden & husband Jake McAda, Izabella and Nicholas.

Faye was preceded in death by her In-laws Mary Edna & Elton Darby Jones, Stepdaughters Lisa (Jones) Donohue and Linda Jones.
