Faye Helen Carle Sandlin, age 93, went to be with the Lord on January 16, 2014. She was born on December 24, 1920 in San Antonio, TX. Mrs. Sandlin was a secretary at Coker Elementary School for over 30 years and was a 50 year resident of Hill Country Villiage. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Sandlin.
She is survived by her 2 children, Warren Sandlin and Frances Gragg & her husband Ernest; 2 granddaughters, Donna Abrameit & husband Kevin and Karen Vinson & husband Eric; 4 great grandchildren, Kyle Abrameit, Brooke Abrameit, Sam Abrameit and Jack Vinson.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, January 24, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
