

Felix enjoyed coaching his boxing team, watching classic Western cowboy movies. He loved, attending church, dancing, and spending quality time with those he loved. He was a natural storyteller who enjoyed sharing memories from his past and was known for his sense of humor, always finding ways to joke around and bring smiles to those around him. His warm personality, wisdom, and love for family will be remembered by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Josephine Castillo; his son, Felix M. Castillo Jr; his parents, Juan Castillo and Victoria Sandoval; and his siblings, Cirela Barrientos, Valentin Castillo, Dolores Lucero, Seferino Castillo, Patsy Moreno, Virginia Valdez, and Frances Farias.
Felix is survived by his loving daughters, Diana M. Gutierrez, Felicia M. Garcia (Arthur), Delfina M. Garza (Gilberto), and Josephine M. Lopez; his cherished grandchildren, Eric F. Gutierrez Jr., Trisha Alonzo (Aaron), Isaac Gutierrez (Tasha), Amber Garcia, Ashley Garcia, Alyssa Garcia, Laura Lopez, Camille Lopez, and Daniel Lopez; and his beloved great-grandchildren, Isaac Gutierrez Jr., Eric Liam Gutierrez III, Emma Gutierrez, Abby Alonzo, AJ Alonzo, Felix Gutierrez, and Zane Gutierrez.
Felix leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and treasured family memories. Though he will be deeply missed, his stories, humor, and the love he shared will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

There will be a Visitation held on Monday, June 8, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Mighty Fortress Church 725 Cedarhurst., San Antonio, Tx, 78227.
On Tuesday, June 9, 2026, our doors open at 8:30 am with a Chapel Service beginning at 9:30 am held at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237, followed by burial at San Fernando Cemetery III, 1735 Cupples Rd, 78226.
