Felix Nava, 83, of San Antonio, passed away December 26, 2020. He was born in Somerset, TX on May 17, 1937 to Juanita Perales Nava and Pedro Nava. He was married to Mary Louise Nava. Felix had a 38 year career as a civil servant for Kelly Air Force Base. Felix had a passion for volunteering, coaching youth sports, fishing, a fan of basketball, football & baseball and most of all spending time with friends and family.
He is preceded in death by Leonor Contreras, Victoriano Nava, Petra Perez, Mary Tello and Louisa Nava.
He is Survived by his son Felix Nava (wife Patricia); his daughters Yolanda Silva, Nora Campbell and Bertha Taylor(Wil Taylor), and; his grandchildren Carissa Nava, Jonathan Nava, Madisen Nava, Lorraine Silva-Alonzo, Eddie Silva, Derek Cuellar, and Darrin Cuellar; as well as numerous great grandchildren.
Family will be receiving guests for a visitation from 5 pm to 9 pm Monday January 4, 2021 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd., San Antonio, TX 78237. Rosary will be held at 7 pm. A mass of resurrection will be held at 10 am on Tuesday January 5, 2021 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 210 St Ann St, San Antonio, TX 78201. Entombment is to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Rd., San Antonio, TX 78237.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Haven for Hope.
