She was born on April 24, 1927 and was a native of Eagle Pass.
Fidelia and her husband lived in Madison Heights, Michigan for 60 years before returning home to Texas last year.
She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Gilligan. Fidelia is survived by her husband, Patrick Gilligan Sr.; son, Patrick Gilligan Jr.; daughter, Eileen Lane (Sean); granddaughter, Angela; brothers, Charlie Johnston and Pete Johnston; sister, Frances Martinez and many nieces and nephews.
