Flora Mae Flo Barnett, age 75, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2005 in San Antonio, Texas. She was well loved. She never met a stranger. Grandma Flo had a special love for the children. They loved her as much as she loved them.
She was preceded in death by her son, Roy Donald Messer and brother, William Dewey Kirby.
She is survived by her husband, James H. Barnett; daughters, Jeanell Tyler and husband, Earl, and Maria Turner and husband, Doug; brothers, James M. Kirby III and wife, Barbara, and Albert Ezell Kirby and wife, Karen; sister-in-law, Margaret Kirby; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Interment will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Michael's Episcopal Church in care of the Flo Barnett Fund, 10208 Culebra, San Antonio, TX 78251.
