Florence Spengler Holton, age 80, a lifelong resident of San Antonio, died Wednesday, May 22, 2002. She was a parishioner of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, having served on the Altar Guild. She was also a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge #744. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry E. Holton and her mother, Hedwig Spengler, as well as her brothers, Edward and Cornelius Spengler. Survivors: son, Henry E. Holton, Jr and wife Emma; daughter, Mary Ann Holton, all of San Antonio, TX; granddaughter, Cheryl Holton Alderman; great-granddaughter, Taylor Leigh Smart, both of Pleasanton, TX; sisters, Beatrice Sanders, Marble Falls, TX, and Mary Alice Mazurek, Comfort, TX; numerous nieces and nephews.
