Florence “Flossie” Grace Rich, age 90, of Converse, Texas passed away on November 11, 2019. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on August 6, 1929. Flossie graduated from Brackenridge High School in 1947. She married (the late) Tollie W. Rich on August 30, 1974. Flossie worked in banking for Texas Commerce Bank, Mission City Bank, and National Bank of Fort Sam Houston. She was a member of Kirby Senior Center where she was a donor and volunteer, and had a passion for cooking, sewing, word puzzles, reading and Bunco.
Flossie was preceded in death by her husband, Tollie W. Rich; and her sister, JoAnn Josserand. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela R. and son-in-law, William P. Gillespie, Jr; grandchildren Miguel A. Salazar and wife, Christina, Daniel J. Salazar, William P. Gillespie, III, and Joseph D. Gillespie.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
