She was a lifelong member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin D. Thompson in 1983; her sister, Edna Schuchart; and her niece, Fay Wurzbach.
She is survived by her son, Roy Thompson and wife, Pat Thompson, PhD of San Antonio; grandchildren, Jennifer Dietrich and husband, Jeff of Pflugerville, Rebecca Watson M.D. and husband, Barry of Kerrville, and Joy Bingaman and husband, Jon of San Antonio; great grandsons, Calvin, Alexander, Brannon, Parker, Connor and Peter; nephews, Lee James Phillips and wife, Joanne, Vernon Schuchart and wife, Doris, and Millard Schuchart and wife, Inell; numerous great nieces and great nephews.
The family wishes to thank the pastoral care given Florence by the staff of St. Mark's Episcopal Church and St. George Episcopal Church.
