He was a master carpenter and devoted to his church and family.
Floyd was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice McIntosh Lawrence.
He is survived by his daughter, Shirley Thomas; sons, Don Lawrence and Sid Lawrence and wife, Jeanette; grandchildren, Brian, Rebecca, Christina, Victoria, Scott, Nathan, Kevin and Beatrice and nine great-grandchildren; brothers, James Lawrence, Dorman Lawrence; sisters, Norma Morgan and Thelma McGee.

Floyd is also survived by an extended loving family.
