Floyd H. Smith

Floyd H. Smith, 76, passed away on Saturday April 16th, 2016. He was born in San Antonio on October 19, 1939 to Floyd C. and Francis (Davis) Smith. Floyd was a graduate of Brackenridge High School Class of 1958. His early in life entrepreneurship included ownership of several bars and clubs in the San Antonio area, and then retired at the early age of 49. He loved to travel with his wife and many of his friends over the years. Friends and Family were very important to him. He enjoyed music, dancing (the alligator), and making everyone laugh. With heavy hearts, we say he is now with our lord and savior. (John 6:63)” It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.”

He is preceded in death by his wife Adrienne Smith in 2010, and is survived by her two sons Derrick Smith and Scott Watson & wife Tammy; 3 grandchildren- Kristen Smith, Zachary Watson, and Allison Watson; and Brother-in-Law Craig Garrison and wife Jane.

Visitation for Mr. Smith is for Friday, April 22, 2016 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 N. Loop 1604 E. and a funeral service on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 10am at Sunset North Funeral Home with burial to follow at Mission Burial Park North.
