He retired after 30 years as a Chief Warrant Officer with the USAF. Forrest was co-founder of the Jefferson COOP and was a volunteer and Board member of C.A.M. and S.A.M. Ministries. He wrote and published poetry; was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church. He was the son of the late Charles and Laura Dunham.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Cynthia Myers and Rebecca Plunkett; nephew, Pat O'Connell.
He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Margaret (Maggie) Myers, James Myers, Jean Myers, Warren O'Connell, Charity Yarborough, Wayne O'Connell, Scott O'Connell, David Plunkett, Gary Plunkett, and Nell Plunkett.
