Frances Dunavan

Born in Stockdale, TX on September 6, 1914, Frances Beatrice Dunavan passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 10, 2016, at the age of 101. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Earle Dunavan, Buford & Annie Linam(parents), Dick & Bertha Dunavan(in-laws), Marguerite Davis & Loleat Thompson (sisters). She is survived by her children, Dick Dunavan(Stacy), Diane Whitworth(Eddie) Grandchildren - Helen Hagan(Yates), Darren & Drew Dunavan, Ashley Gonzalez(Adionicio), Amy Freedman(Todd) Great Grandchildren - Daniel & Will Hagan, Alessandro, Marcello & Patricio Gonzalez, Riley & Paxton Freedman, and many loving nieces & nephews.

Widowed at age 32, Frances was a strong, independent woman who worked at both Alamo Iron Works and Casual Corner, while raising her family with an abundance of love. She lived her life strong in faith, her heart filled with love, compassion, and unwavering optimism.
