Frances E. Mills– Passed away August 24, 2014. She was born in Minneapolis, MN on September 18, 1920. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Mills. Married in Honolulu, Hawaii, June 1946. Member of the National Association of Parliamentarians for many years and former member of the San Antonio Unit; Past High Priestess of the Ladies Oriental Shrine, Al Manarah Court #50, Alexandria, VA; Member of the Retired Officer’s Wives and Widows Club, Ft. Sam Houston, TX and parliamentarian for the club for ten years; member of the Windcrest Women’s Club, Windcrest, TX, and parliamentarian for the club for eight years; member of the San Antonio Council of Presidents.
Survived by her daughter Roberta Bowhay, son-in-law Carl Bowhay, Ovilla, TX; grandson William Stout and great grandchildren Tyler and Jessica Stout, Midlothian, Texas; brother-in-law George Mills, Colonia, NJ.
Memorial service will be held at Windsor Park Baptist Church, DeSoto, Texas, August 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Friday August 29, 2014 at 1:30 P.M.
